The Battle of the Bulge Tour 2024 is slightly different from our previous tours to Belgium. We will explore some lesser known places, off the beaten path, where history was made in December 1944 and January 1945. Locations where ordinary men showed extraordinary bravery and acts of valor. We will take you to sites where no other tour will take you. On Day 1 we focus on battle sites in the Northern Arch of the Bulge including stories of 75th Infantry Division and 82nd Airborne Division. Day 2 will focus on Easy Company in the vicinity of Bastogne incl. Halt Station, the Bois Jacques and many more. At some sites we will also learn more about the German perspective on the Battle of the Bulge.

Market Garden was an Allied military operation during WWII fought in the German-occupied Netherlands in September 1944. Its objective was to create a 64 mile salient into German territory with a bridgehead over the Rhine River. Day one will focus on the US sector in the vicinity of Eindhoven with stops at Son en Breughel, Best, Nuenen, Meijerstad and many more. Day two is about the British sector around Arnhem featuring numerous locations such as Dropzones, John Frost Bridge, the Commonwealth Cemetery Oosterbeek and others. The ticket does not include food, accomodation or travel to Eindhoven.

On this tour to Austria you will get the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Easy Company with us. The tour itinerary will mainly focus on Berchtesgaden which served as an outpost of the German Reichskanzlei. Its environs saw substantial expansion of offices, security, and support services, mainly on the Obersalzberg during the Third Reich. You will get to see several locations in and around Berchtesgaden with stops at the Berghof, the Eagle´s Nest, Albert Speer House, Kaprun Church & Castle, Zell am See and many more. Operation Overlord of June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest invasion force in human history. On this tour we will follow Easy Company with WW2TV Paul Woodadge as our guide. Both days will start in the city of Caen where we will travel around Normandy Peninsula visiting locations such as St. Mère-Église, Brecourt Manor, Carentan, St.-Marie-du-Mont, Angoville-au-Plain, as well as the beaches in the American Sector and many more. The cost of the ticket does not include food, accomodation or travel to Normandy.

The Siege of Bastogne Tour is vastly different from the Battle of the Bulge Tour, which we held in November 2022. This two-day tour will include an event based activity which will be organised by us and focus on what happened oustside of Bastogne during the Ardennes Offensive. We will visit the locations where the men of a number of U.S. Divisions had fought during the cold winter of 1944. Furthermore, you will learn more about the German Forces and their situation during the battle when we will visit sites like Kessler Farm, Assenois, Dead Man´s Ridge, Recogne, Hemroulle and more.

The Ardennes Offensive, which is most commonly known as The Battle of the Bulge, was the last major German offensive attack on the Western Front between December 16, 1944 and January 28, 1945. Join us for a two-day tour in Belgium and visit the locations where the men of the 101st Airborne and other Divisions had fought during one of the coldest winters of the 20th century. We will visit a number of sites in the area of Bastogne such as the Halt Station, Bois Jacques, Foy, Rachamps and the Belgian border including the Northern Shoulder of the Battle of the Bulge with sites such as Lanzerath, Wereth, Malmedy and more.

The 101st Airborne Division parachuted into Holland during Operation Market Garden on September 17, 1944. Easy Company was led by Capt. Richard Winters when they jumped into Holland, who was assigned to support the British forces around Eindhoven by defending the roads and bridges that would allow British armored divisions to advance into Arnhem and force a crossing over the major bridge across the Rhine in September 1944. During the Tour we will be able to visit a number of Operation Market Garden locations along the so called Hell´s Highway leading from Veghel to Son which include the landing zones of the 101st Airborne Division, Nuenen, Son Bridge, Veghel North as well as, Schoonderlogt Farm where the famous picture of Capt. Winters was taken, Crossroads and more.
